My Favourite Book- RObbinson Crusoe




"Life without books is like a room without windows." 

Books play an important role in a person's life. Reading books, usually taken as a hobby, is really beneficial. Books vary like adventurous, funny, romantic, suspense, moral, fairy tale, general knowledge and so on. These are chosen according to a person's taste.

Although I have read so many books but my favorite one is a novel called "Robinson Crusoe". It is written by a famous novelist, 'Daniel Defoe'. It attracts the reader by its colorful illustrations and beautiful title cover. once the reader reads only the starting, he is willing to read the whole novel.

The novel is a story of about a man who didn't obeyed his father and went for a sea tour when his father asked him not to. On a stormy night his ship wrecked and brought him to a mysterious abandoned island. His adventure started when he gathered his hope and started exploring the place. Overcoming his despair, he fetches arms, tools, and other supplies from the ship before it breaks apart and sinks.
The island was also used by cannibals sometimes where one of the men escapes from the barbaric act. Robinson rescues him, and names him ‘Friday’ teaches English and becomes a great help and companion to Crusoe in his otherwise lonely life. Robinson finally escapes when a ship that has been a victim of mutiny arrives on the island. He helps the captain and the prisoners to retrieve the ship.The novel ends with promise of more adventures for him in the sequel.

The book fascinates young readers and I realized how intelligent the writer was that I felt as if I was present in the whole story.
